We offer Jam Workshops throughout the year.
If you already know how to easily change between four chords – G, C, D, and A, we can teach you how to play BY EAR with others! That’s right! And with no music sheets to read!
This is a learned skill that is going to make playing music with others FUN!
The workshops are not sequential – meaning you can start and stop any time you want. Of course you’ll want to attend as many as possible. Just before each workshop I’ll evaluate the attendees and present a workshop that will benefit everyone. Example, If I know there are beginner mountain dulcimer players, we will concentrate on the Key of D.
The cost is $20 per 90-minute workshop. If you pay for 4 workshops we’ll give you the fifth FREE! Pretty Sweet!
Plus we’ll offer private lessons either before or after the workshop for those who want more detailed and custom instruction. Guitar, Bass, Fiddle or Vocals.
As with both the workshop and lessons, pre-payment guarantees your spot for the dates you choose.
We try and limit the workshops to 8 people. Sometimes we will have a couple more but that is not our goal. We could fill the room with people but we’d be cheating you all with that. By limiting the number of attendees we’ll be able to provide better instruction. That’s good for everyone!
