Honalee Home brings a Musical Petting Zoo to Town! Fun for all ages!
This is a chance for you, your club, school or church to come and visit with multiple musical instruments that you may have never had a chance to handle – Or, you just want to do something new and different.
Different stations will be set up with some direction to get you started in:
Guitar – Acoustic and Electric
Banjo – Old Time Clawhammer Style
Mandolin
Dobro – Begining
Ukulele
Mountain Lap Dulcimer
Recorder
Bass – Upright, electric, U-bass
Violin/Fiddle/Viola
Cello
Piano
And sometimes other instruments
Each Workshop is approximately Two-hours long. We rotate through the instruments every 15 minutes. The last portion of the workshop is where we all play “You Are My Sunshine” together! Yes, even if you’ve never played before you’ll play at the end of this workshop.
Each workshop is limited to 16 participants and the cost is $20 per workshop session. Each participant also receives a Gift Certificate good for one (1) free 30-minute music lesson (a $20 value) at Honalee Home (good for six months from the date of the workshop.
Come on a sign up for a scheduled workshop or contact us to schedule one specially for you group. We need a minimum of 10 people to hold a custom workshop.
The Zoo is scheduled for:

May 20, 2018 – Sunday at 1 pm till 3 pm
